White Blind Dog Bandana | Vision Impaired Dog Awareness

White communicates “Blind” in Billabone’s colour communication system. It is designed to help alert others that your dog may have limited or no vision and may not see people, other dogs or obstacles approaching.

A white “Blind” bandana provides a simple, visible way to communicate your dog’s needs and encourage others to approach calmly and thoughtfully. This can be especially helpful when walking your dog in public places, where people may not otherwise realise that your dog has a vision impairment.

Why use a White “Blind” dog bandana?

A blind dog may not see someone approaching, may startle when touched unexpectedly, or may be less able to respond to visual cues. Other people and dogs may not understand this behaviour if they are unaware that the dog has limited vision.

The White “Blind” bandana helps communicate this important information at a glance, encouraging people to be more aware of how they approach and interact with your dog.

Our colour-coded communication system is designed to make a dog's needs more visible. While these colours are widely recognised and increasingly used around the world, they are not understood by everyone. We therefore recommend using the bandana together with responsible handling and awareness.

Comfortable to wear

Tie the bandana comfortably around your dog's neck and leave enough room to fit two fingers between the bandana and your dog's neck.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG UNATTENDED WHILST WEARING A DOGGY BANDANA.

On hot days, the bandana can be lightly wetted to help provide a cooling effect.

The reflective Billabone logo helps improve visibility when walking your dog in low-light conditions.

Washing & Care

Machine wash on cold only. Do not tumble dry, bleach or iron directly over the printed design.
